寧波東力傳動設備股份有限公司成立于2006年1月20日，其前身為設立于1998年的寧波東力傳動設備有限公司。
公司生產基地分設于寧波國家高新區、江北工業園區、江東仇畢工業區，總占地面積26萬m2，擁有現代化標準廠房15萬m2。公司以工業齒輪和工業電機為核心業務，以大功率重載齒輪箱、模塊化減速器、模塊化減速電機、風力發電齒輪箱、聯軸器和變頻、輥道、冶金電機為核心發展產品，在齒輪行業中占有重要的地位。
2007年8月，公司首次公開發行股票成功（證券簡稱：東力傳動，證券代碼：002164），成為齒輪行業唯一在A股上市的企業。

Our production bases are separately situated in Ningbo national hi-tech industrial development zone,Jiangbei industrial Park,and Jiangdong industrial Park in Ningbo city,which cover a floor area of 260,000 square meters and where our company owns modern standard workshops with the area of 150,000 square meters. Our core business is industrial gearbox and industrial motor, and our core products are the high power and heavy load gearbox, the modular reducer, the modular gearmotor, the wind power gearbox, the VVVF motor for roller table and metallurgy use. We have occupied the important position in gear industry.
In August 2007, IPO shares were issued successfully(stock short name: DONLY, stock code:002164) ,DONLY became the first listed enterprise which was listed on A-share of Shenzhen stock exchange in the gear industry of China.
