1996年12月通力電梯有限公司在中國昆山注冊成立，是通力集團在亞太地區Zui主要的
電梯及自動扶梯生產基地。2013年，占地約24萬平方米的通力電梯新工業園和研發中心在昆山正式開業，是通力全球Zui大、研發實力Zui雄厚的生產及研發基地。通力生產的產品除滿足國內需求外，還出口到泰國、馬來西亞、新加坡、和中東地區等90多個國家和地區。
截至2014年底，通力中國擁有近10300名員工，50家分公司，368個維保站，60個銷售代表處。
