SI Group China (“the Company”) refers to SI Group (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (SISL) at Shanghai Songjiang Industrial Zone, SI Group Shanghai Trading Co., Ltd (SSTL) at Waigaoqiao Industrial Zone and other subsidiaries of Schenectady International in China.
SI Group(Shanghai) Co., Ltd (SISL) is Schenectady’s first fully automated performance resins manufacturing facility in the Asia Pacific region and an excellent example of Schenectady’s ability to deploy its global technology edge to support its activities around the world. The production unit, with over 60,000 square meters of production and warehouse space, has been designed state-of-the-art to meet the toughest customer service as well as environmental requirements. Production of phenolic resins for the tire industry started up in September 2004. We are committed to developing our services as well as our products to meet and exceed the expectations of our customer industries in the Asia Pacific region, and especially in China.
